As I hear more and more stories about the devastation up there...

Surprised this football game is going to happen. Hotel rooms booked up so folks in the area can't get relief from no power. Roads will be clogged while folks are out trying to find gas and ice.

Just surprised...

Go Tigers!

Y'all thumbs down me if you need to.

Prayers to everyone up there experiencing devastation.

I understand your thoughts. It is definitely a tough situation for the whole area. One main reason they will play is the money the fans bring into town. Downtown businesses rely on game days for a good chunk of their revenue.

Last night only half of downtown had power.***

By going to their online sites and ordering Christmas gifts for others or fresh apparel for ourselves from afar. Spike their sales now.

I don't see why anyone would give you a TD. I've lived through Hugo and other

hurricanes. No power, no ice, etc. is not fun at all. Prayers for all!

No thumbs down needed for this, you make good sense but

It comes down to Clemson University weighing the pros/cons and making decision.

If game was moved/delayed I would not have had any issue with it. Many will be dealing with major life issues for a long time and football is of no concern at this point, it’s about homes and families.

Either way, the game will be played and I will thankfully have power and watch the game which is my hope for everyone. My neighbor was not so lucky, tree through their roof and they are displaced in hotel until damage is repaired. Terrible, destruction from this storm.

I think the University got stuck in a difficult decision pinch with Stanford on the tarmac waiting to travel. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the proceeds from the game are donated for disaster relief. I know if I was President Clements that’s what would be my priority. Atleast find a way to turn some lemons into lemonade.

FEMA funds should be forthcoming too***
