feel?? Our coaches were the first to recognize Adams Talent, first to offer, spent who knows how many hours with him and his family not to mention how many hours our coaches spent away from their own families recruiting thi kid. All that to get spurned by Auburn with brand new coaches accross the board and a horrible team. If we played them next year we would beat them by 30!!

Who said anything about Dabo??? I love our staff. I said imagine how dissapointed they are after spending all that time on this kid and them losing them to Auburn?? Of all teams Auburn??

What must it be like to spend literally years in a relationship with a potential recruit only to have him change his mind in the final month before the signing day? The countless phone calls, handwritten letters, texts, trips, etc. all add up to a great deal of effort...only to be kicked in the gut the last monh, or week, of the process.
I used to also wonder how the baseball coaches manage to recruit. They go after the best of the HS recruits, get them to commit, have a great class coming in the next year, but then the recruit gets drafted by the pros and they're gone! What if all three of your hotshot pitchers that you're recruiting (and have committed) decide to turn pro? Now you've got to start over at the last minute.
I think that I'll stay in the recruiting process as an observer. I don't think that there's enough ulcer medication in the world to make me want to be a coach dealing with all of these HS athletes.

get them all. You just have to work hard and get your share. I think our staff always gets our share, and I am confident they will this year. Getting everybody is doubtful any year. Just get our share!
