ACC Network/ESPN3 question

Aug 17, 2015, 9:46 AM

I noticed that our first game is listed as being on the ACC Network (Raycom), but also on ESPN3.

If a game is on the ACC network and you live in that general area, will it be blacked out on ESPN3?

I currently am in a weird situation of having the ESPN's, including ESPN3, but I do not have a working antenna for local channels at the moment.

There's no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people who ask questions.

As an FYI

Sling TV gets you ability to sign into WatchESPN on its own. You dont need to use anybody else's login. Under cable providers in WatchESPN, just select SlingTV and sign in with your SlingTV credentials.

From my research, using Sling TV as your provider only lets you use WatchESPN to watch content that is being shown on one of the ESPN cable networks (i.e. ESPN1, ESPN2, ESPN U). It does NOT allow you to use WatchESPN to view content that is exclusively for ESPN3.

At least, that's what the websites I've seen said. I'd prefer to use the Sling for sign-in as I don't like going around the system, but I thought I had to in order to watch ESPN 3 content.

If I'm wrong and anyone knows for sure, please let me know.

you can make an antenna that works great. I have a big antenna that I use for local channels in my shed. I know a guy that made his own and it picks up more channels than the big one I have. Go to tvantennaplans.com and it will show you how to make it. Cost less than $10 and you can hang it in a window just for the game. Really nice to have in situations like this.
