As a new resident of NC, I have to agree.

Of course, their default response after we drub them will be "Well, we don't care about football anyway. Enjoy losing your 60th straight at Chapel Hill."

a unc memory when I was a student

Sep 25, 2014, 10:41 AM

Back in the late 80s a unc fan was leaving The Valley early in the 4th qtr of our game with them.

Clemson fan: Where are you going?

nc fan: Just wait until basketball season.

Different Clemson fan: You didn't drive 5 hours to watch a **** basketball game.

Their rampant cheating suggests they care a bit. ******

Sep 25, 2014, 2:40 PM [ in reply to Re: As a UNC employee, I have to say ]

HELL Carolina" chant going early and often. Six months living in Charlotte, NC and you'll know why. I put them baaarely above the coots, but I mean literally by the skin of my teeth. Cant wait to beat the cheats.

I am in an office full of Goats.

Pretty quiet around here this week. Not a single one of them has asked me to help read his emails for him yet

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

what's with 'goats'

Sep 25, 2014, 11:36 AM

if you can't tell the difference between sheep and goats, then you do the CU agriculture background a disservice

Sep 25, 2014, 11:14 AM

this is a tough week...it stinks when the two teams you pull for play each other...

i'm wearing the light blue today, but i'll wear orange tomorrow.

not sure about game-day attire, will probably go with neutral

I never understood how one can pull for two colleges.

I can understand pro teams, but not colleges.

it's easy

Sep 25, 2014, 11:19 AM

so easy, even a UNC grad can do it :)

love CU - love living and working here - and my Clemson roots run deep

but i can't not pull for my alma mater

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: it's easy

Sep 25, 2014, 11:33 AM

I don't pull for my alma mater in any sports. I'm a Clemson fan and always have been, always will be. I've also worked for 3 different colleges and don't pull them either.

I guess it's just different for me. I see college fandom as an allegiance that can't be cheated on.

You are going to baffle the goat boy with common sense

Sep 25, 2014, 1:14 PM

And sound proof logic.

If I had graduated from there for the love of anything that costs more than $1.19 I certainly wouldnt tell anyone.

Matter of fact, I would flat out lie

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

it will be a cold day in Hades

Sep 25, 2014, 2:24 PM

when you post anything remotely logical

most institutions value loyalty

bit of a shame that you and ..FinishLine don't

How in gawd's name can you pull for both? That would be like me being a Cowboys-Steelers fan!

So GT_Tiger works at UNC

Sep 25, 2014, 1:52 PM

You are an ACC mutt, aren't you? No disrespect, of course...it looks like the TIGER connection trumps the other two!
