Interested to see where y'all would rank Hamilton in a list of Best Clemson Recievers in the Last 20 yrs. Based on what they did in college, nothing to do with what they did or didnt do afterwards. Would he crack your top 5?

Hey byers, you said you work with D-Ham, out of courosity, what is he/does he do these days?
Hamilton was a great WR. Rare combo of speed/height/hands/quickness...Would have loved to see him stay for for senior year. Think things may have turned out different for him...

That loudmouth cigar chewing uncle of his come around practice ? Literally had all I could stand of him at the wake forest game his junior year . Up and down the steps over and over " that's it you've seen the last of him" ,cussing tommy etc. etc. Just wasn't the time or place for it and he was directing it right at several assoc. AD's . Pissed me off but I bit my tongue .

J. Brown has turned out to be a great 3rd down specialty player in NFL, however, just based on their playing days at Clemson, Hamilton was far superior to Brown...

I def. would have to put Gardner in the top 5. I think Hamilton was a better player than Kelly although Kelly broke the reception record. If I remember correctly Derrick had the ACC record for all purpose yards either in a season or career, at that time.

Any list of the top wrs in last 20 years without Gardner is a joke..Pure talent wise, he was comparable to NuK, sadly his work etchic/attitude was subpar...He is easily top 5 though

Has he already gone past 20? Many here never saw him play a down. I remember him laying out for one against the Criminoles. There was another star in the making but was very injury prone.. Antwon Wyatt

Noodle was way better than Kelly. Kelly was tall but slow and not clutch. That said Kelly never had a solid QB throwing to him. He left for the NFL way too fast and never developed. TB was not the best at developing talent. I'd say a solid 5th.
1st - Sammy 2nd - Nuke 3rd - Stucky 4th - Ford 5th - Derrik "Noodle" Hamleton 6th - Rod Gardner
