Are there any NIL reporting requirements?

Do schools have to report how many players / which players / how much / etc are receiving NIL money? And, if so, is that information made public even in the aggregate? Or do schools even know?

My sense is there is not, but a lot of you have kept up way more than I have....

Yes, if you’re in the SEC, you’re required to NOT talk about any of the reports.

Since schools don't pay players, it makes sense that there is no requirement to report so that probably means there is a requirement. At most schools in the NCAA, the list will be short.

NO NIL is a private contract between two businesses it is only reported to the IRS.
