After Cade & Team put away feisty UNC in ACCCG, I expected

so much more against TN in Orange Bowl..

but surprisingly & disappointingly it didn't happen even though Cade & Tiger O won about every stat but the most important one..on the scoreboard!

Still, we saw enough to realize there was so much potential which is great news what with new O coach, 2nd year for DC, new QB and so many other factors.

Go Tigers!

We moved the ball up and down the field against Tennessee, but we just couldn't finish the job. It would have helped if Cade got more snaps during the season. I don't think Streeter was going to be able to develop him. I'm glad we have Riley.

The Tenn game was so weird. They got away from what worked all year, the run game. It's like Streeter didn't know what to do now that he had a QB he trusted to sling the rock. Went from completely unbalanced one direction to the other.

One of a few reasons dabo made a tough decision.***

Were they though? Tennessee at full health was definitely worlds ahead of UNC. But they didn't have their QB (Hooker), their best receiver (Hyatt), their second best receiver (Tillman), their fourth best receiver (Calloway). They also lost a lot of their defense (but their defense was bottom 10 in the country any way).

well, the playcaller left Cade unprotected most of the night

He was hammered over-and-over again. Hopefully the #1 OC in the country is smarter.

Apparently you need to have a Top 47 offense to realize that

when we empty the backfield, UT will bring the SS or LB straight up the middle, the architect of our Top 48 offense couldn't make that connection the first 5 or 6 times it happened

We had no answer for the LB'r rush.
