Wife and I waited until about an hour before kickoff to get tickets. We found two through a scalper and another couple wanted them too. He said he had four together in lower bowl and we could all sit together. We paid $200 each for the pair $400 total. We went to the gate and they wouldn’t scan. Ticket office said they were fake and cut them in half. Anyone else going get scammed?

Because we didn’t want to pay $300 plus for tickets and we waited too late. We didn’t care. We just wanted tickets to get in. Did these loook fake?
