If you haven't watched that kid's hudl video, you are missing out. Lights out QB, I sure hope he picks Clemson bc that boy would look good with PAW.

anyone else think the fact that Hunter Johnson is

signed to come in this cycle is the only reason he hasn't pulled the trigger for Clemson. Not to mention the other 4 star kid we have coming in. Embarrassment of riches at this point. HOpe it works out.

Shoot, I'd bring in Orr or one of those other wr... whoever his best bud is. whatever it takes to get this guy here. We trending up and Ga trending down. I can see he and tee, Thompson etc. hooking up.
He threw more TD's than lemer - maybe he should have won the Heisman.

We've already taken Mike Jones verbal commit. We certainly wouldn't tell TL to wait, at least I don't think we would. He's a gem of a prospect. One of the best and most polished recruits at that position that you'll see.
Only certainty is that some team is going to get an outstanding player when he commits.

definitely see what you're saying, and know you're the guy to defer to on this sort of topic, but hear me out:
- initial word, as Clemson was gaining steam, was that a decision would be in by summer's end - TL has said he's not a huge fan of the recruiting process, yet it's still seeming to drag out - Dabo likes to have these "next year" recruits give him a publicity boost on signing day since our classes are typically closer to being wrapped up at that point - 2014 we had '15 #1 Tackle Mitch Hyatt commit - 2015 we had '16 RB Tavien Feaster, '16 WR Cornell Powell, and '16 LB Jamie Skalski commit - 2016 was a bit different because of the unexpected attrition so we had a bit more signing day excitement (Mullen, Wallace, Simpson, Gary)
I think that this is a calculated strategy by CDS & co to keep us in the spotlight on NSD even if we don't have a big name for the current class making a decision that day

Excellent points for sure. I believe we could see a lineman potentially commit on NSD for the next class. One in particular said he'd like to give a verbal after the season. Well, his season is over and he's been quiet. I take that for what it is but do find it intriguing. Now if this fella and TL commit on NSD then wow. Cause then some serious dominoes could start falling our way.

I honestly think he's the best HS quarterback I've ever seen. He's a once-in-a-generation talent when you look at his arm strength and accuracy, ability to move in and out of the pocket, size, smarts, and winning pedigree, among other things.

I Don't really think he cares that Johnson and Brice will be here at Clemson. He's already said he isn't afraid of competition. Besides you only need one good year in either your junior or senior year. And I really believe he's a silent commit. He's been retweeting lots of Clemson stuff and no Ga stuff.

My question is what happens if Cooper or Johnson or whoever lights it up next year? Even if Lawrence commits would he really come in and unseat a guy that was great the year before. I think he kind of wants to see how the QB situation plays out at Clemson.

He'll face a similar challenge at UGA, as they'll have two 5-star QBs on their roster in Eason and Fromm.

He'll have to compete wherever he goes, so I think it'll come down to things like scheme, coaches/players, and comfortability. We definitely have the scheme that will best utilize and showcase his talents and we already have a championship-caliber foundation of coaches and players in place. I like our chances.

This kid is good. Deceptive speed, accuracy, arm strength, and a quick release. He fits clemsons offense perfectly. UGA on the other hand.....

9:00 mark. He blocks too!
Uncanny throwing motion, but extremely accurate.
