Anyone else concerned About Zion Williamson?

playing at clemson. We all saw the damage that Blossomgame did to the program by scoring too much. I am worried that this kid would probably lead us down the same path of one guy scoring all of the points while the other players sit around and watch. CoachMac, or any of the other BBall experts have an opinion here?

I guess there would need to be some advanced understanding about him elevating his game

I think BB is taking page from Dabo's recruiting book. As TigerWoods (Where is he by the way?) indicated a few weeks ago, we lead for Zion. There are a few 4-stars and another 5-star (Hasn't been identified yet who this is...) coming to game with him. Talent wants to play with talent in basketball just like football.
I trust he will not be a one-man show...

I don't blame him for wanting to be on a team where his role in college is similar to what his role projects to be in the NBA. If UNC wants to stick him on the post to compensate for their lack of big men, then he's no better their than he is at Clemson. Heck, there are plenty of recent examples of projected one and done talent flatlining or regressing once they got there. Kansas, Louisville and even Duke all have examples of players playing out of place to fit a team need. If we want him we build around him, hes already a household name and playing an acc schedule, he alone will be a big TV draw so its not like he wont have just as much exposure.

Against UNC, Duke, UKent, UKans and Uncle Lou, I am less optimistic. What does Zion have to say? Wherever he ends up, I give him props for being a football fan and coming out to hang with the Tigers this weekend. Good luck Zion!

No need to worry. He is not coming to Clemson. He will go to a basketball school for one year and then get paid.

I think if he scores a LOT of points AND the other Lads score a good amount of points that is a recipe for scoring lots of points in a game ! And my analytics show that doing this gives a team a good chance of winning games ! (given that the other team is held to not scoring as many points as our team in any given game). Do this, and be glad.

We have seen how much losing second rounders hurts the team. I can't even imagine losing a first rounder.
But if he comes, I will enjoy it while I can.
