There are so many great colors out there. I’ve noticed recently just how many people just wear black.

Black goes with every other secondary color you want to put on. It also hides stains decently as well. It also gives a certain aggressive mystique..... especially with sports cars.
My favorite color is dark navy blue though.
Black comes in a long distant second.

I've always considered black to be a favorite color of the following groups....1) Europeans 2) Yankees 3) Goth folk
It's not a very forgiving color. Kind of like Adidas sweat suits....it just doesn't go in the South.

Black tends to hide a multitude of sins.....like twinkies, Blue Bell Ice Cream, Pecan pie, etc. Psychologists will tell you that people who wear black all the time either have a sinister side to their personality or they are hiding something. Worked for Johnny Cash!!

presents a more professional, serious look, plus black goes with about any color.
Hence, most of my dress clothes and shoes are black, and yes, I like highly-shined, leather dress shoes with leather soles and not the informal, rubber bottomed types so popular with the younger crowd! Had a young fellow opine that my leather shoes were probably uncomfortable. I replied, "I don't like to be comfortable when I work!" Poor guy is still scratching his head.....LOL.

If too harsh then go for something else in the white / black continuum as there are fifty shades of grey. Great for personal travel or business travel. It’s just one less thing to think about .
But when it is worn so you intentionally stand out (look at me I wear all black at a backyard party in 90 degree heat and humidity - then kind of dooshy (unless you are an entertainer or a tech-bro).
