but Hopkins, ellington, ford, brown, freeman and many more did play last year and will not play this year. sometimes things cancel out. we have to have people step up and make plays for those we lost, and that's why it is an unknown factor till game day.

We beat a top 10 team without those two. Statistically, Sammy was our second-best receiver last year, but everyone knows he's so electric that the defense has to account for him on every play. And didn't Martavis lead the NCAA in YPC last year? If not he was leading at some point late in the season with something ridiculous like 35 YPC.

There's not many teams out there that you could remove those two playmakers from offense and still have the success we did.
