or even if you have one do you like it. Several of my friends are ditching Cable and dish altogether and just going with that. no monthly bill. except internet of course.
i don't like it but it kinda makes me think swofford was on the right track. (Said with nails in teeth.)
a couple have Apple TV which I know nothing about.

It's great for us, but depends on what you want to watch. Has all the network TV shows plus comedy central. We also have an antenna and get perfect reception of the networks so I watch most sports on there. The only thing I miss is ESPN, but I can watch ESPN3 on the laptop. I wish Roku would get ESPN3 then it would be perfect.

If you put plex on your desktop pc, or laptop on the same network you can watch ESPN3 on the Roku. Then you can get Justin.tv to watch pretty much any of the other games. I use it and only pay $8.00/month for netflix, more to watch on there than I ever will. The Plex app adds a lot to it as well.

my isp is north state comm. and it gives me espn3 on my internet. I got on the chat line with rolu yesterday and it told me roku couldn't get that signal without some kinda code from espn. What is this plex app you are talking about. North State has plex, or at least that's what they call their service. this is aimed at clemtiger00 from tigerlin

I have roku boxes and use them for pandora, amazon video rentals etc. they are easy to set up but can be problematic - particuarly if connected with hdmi. i would suggest you get one but keep cable until understand the limitations.
