Sounds like a change in special teams coordinator is what you are really trying to say, especially since Venables is responsible for coaching the kickoff team part of special teams. Maybe we should change him too.

Hilarious how quick some of you guys get so defensive. Good teams and fans dont settle and overlook issues. TEs have been great but no questioning the lacking STs. Was just looking for input fellas.

Or take a page out his handbook and put the best players on the field on special teams instead of kids who see the field otherwise. Bruce smith was a first team all American and he was on every special team. That's why he was so good and his best teams had the best special teams. We have a habit of taking a kid and basically saying he can't play offense or defense but he can contribute on special teams. I think we need to rethink that approach.

Eleven guys on the field will solve the problem. Easier said than done
Dabo has some good film to show the players what happens when you miss a tackle on the kickoff
It can cost you a national championship. I look for improvement in this facet of the game....beginning with Auburn

Pearman is fine as the TE coach. We just need a coach whose sole focus is SP teams. When your 126 out 128 teams in SP teams efficiency and poor SP teams played a huge role in our only loss of the season, extra attention needs to be added there.

Unfortunately the NCAA only allows for so many full time coaches. Maybe we can pull a saban and hire an associate head of student athlete affairs and have them coach special teams?

They don't have to have direct contact with the players (coaching) but they can right the ship.

Buffalo had one of the best specialty teams with regards to KOR yards allowed, maybe ole Rex could come down and provide a little advice.

You would think some random fan would tell Dabo how to coach and who to fire from his staff
so maybe we could win a few games next year ., Dabo has those call in shows you never hear
fans giving Dabo any good advice on how to coach .,

HOWEVER....we also obviously need someone, a specific coach for these situations to solely focus on this issue(s).
It is an Achilles heel and doesn't take a genius or hater to recognize!
It most definitely cost us the natty (along with various other boneheaded anomaly "busts" or missed tackles and position)....but IF we can correct this by placing EMPHASIS on it - WE WIN ALL GAMES BY MILES!!!!

He's obviously a weak poster while the talent here on TigerNet is only increasing. This is a big red flag. Perhaps we should take that up with Crump and B-Meist. We can't have the strength of this message board pulled down by newbies.
