Any chance we break attendance record this saturday?

Does anyone know how they get more in than official capacity and what the real cap is beyond official capacity? There must be some number that is the limit, but if you look at the records they are all beyond capacity.

Westzone and other seats and smaller hills have actually reduced capacity.

...have effectively reduced the seating on the hill. Not sure, but I heard the seating on the West Endzone is about a wash, or slightly increased over the previous seating. Either way, the hill's seating has been voluntarily reduced to meet with the current fire code.
Games that had 86k, 85k, etc....all had overflow seating on the hill and in the stands, and the fire marshall doesn't let that happen anymore.

WEZ has a limited # of seats and the corner green grass section is gone. PLUS, the fire marshal will never allow 86,000 people in the stadium ever again.

Pretty sure only the east corner is a student section, and it often looks empty because those students are sneaking down onto The Hill instead.

- Thanksgiving weekend may keep some people away
- the fact that it's on TV keep some people away
- the fact that it's at 7:15 at night
It will be packed but I doubt a record crowd. One good thing is that it will be a beautiful, warm, dry day - can't be any better for tailgating this late in November.
