Here's a note from the NCAA on the Transfer Portal...

While a player entering their name in the transfer portal means they intend to explore their options, it does not necessarily mean they will leave. A player is free to withdraw his name at any time. However, schools are under no obligation to keep a player on scholarship once they enter the portal.

Any chance Lynn J or Mikey will return this season given our obvious need?

I sure hope not.

I would even have caution letting someone back who entered the portal after spring practice and decided during the summer that they wanted to stick with Clemson.

Anyone who bailed on the team in the middle of the season would not be welcome anywhere near the program moving forward.

Obvious needs? They are leaving because they know they cannot beat out Shipley, Mafah, or Pace.
