Another gem from Coot bored

Aug 29, 2017, 12:38 AM

Reading a post about about us playing kent state, I am across this gem.

https://southcarolina.forums.rivals.com/threads/kent-state-it-never-ends.239807/

"And we have more of these stupid neutral site games scheduled. 2019 is the next one I believe. We go to UGA every other year, that's nothing new for us. it's not about neutral site games being harder or easier. It's about losing a home game for a market that doesn't benefit us. I'd rather have recruits come to WB in front of 80,000 instead of 20,000-30,000 in a stadium that's only half of our fans and doesn't capture the game atmosphere of USC."

I can only assume when he says "WB" he must mean women's basketball.

Their " Home Atmosphere " also includes emptying the stadium when you've been dragged for 3 quarters by Clemson or having The Citadel break it off in you sideways and relegate you to 3rd best in your own state status .
Home Atmosphere indeed.

The Cluckers usually have 80,000 at kickoff and 25,000 fans, 55,000 empty seats by kickoff 3rd quarter...I am not sure what this guy is getting at

They also have to take into consideration our outer conference schedule takes a big hit because we play them every year. We can replace them with the Charleston southern and our strength of schedule will go up.

They are going back to their old excuses of, their tough sec schedule, and they are to banged up when Clemson comes up on their schedule. I don't think they have used that one since old ball coach, have they?
