and krzy's house. Red and I were at lunch and sat by the window and a cop was taking a runner home, and all of a sudden, the cop car threw on its lights and slammed on the brakes. We got a front seat show to a woman throwing up in the storm drain from the seat of the cop car.
What normally would take 10 minutes max to go to a restaurant took exactly one hour yesterday because literally every street was shut down with terrible detours.

Fatties trying to run half marathons is what is wrong with America. Just cause you can go 13 miles doesn't make you an athlete. If your ladies marathon shirt is a Large or XL, you probably should stay at home and skip the Dunkin Doughnuts a little more often.

can't imagine a worse place to run than in the middle of a city - polluted air, asphalt, concrete....yuck. Is that a part of the challenge of it, the adverse conditions?
If you ran from like Walhalla to Pickens, through the woods, seems that would be a much better experience. And you wouldn't displace the people who actually NEED to use the roads during that time.

are doing them to get good times? For most, it's just about personal achievement, but along the way to feeling nice about themselves, a lot of these people end up with injuries and chronic pain.
I mean, the first guy to run a marathon dies. Why's everybody else copying his example?

while they were doing chest compressions. You could see everything. Pretty crazy sight to see. It was fairly obvious he was dead when they put him in the ambulance. It was almost like they were acting as if he was alive, but you could see he had zero color and wasn't alive.

errbody knows that asphalt is softer on your knees than concrete.
Plus sidewalks are notorious for having uneven seems and are a tripping hazard.

the worst roads possible. Roper Mountain Rd. during 5 o'clock traffic?? That sounds like a good place for a run!
