Annoying beeping sound on tnet articles

Seems like once you scroll about midway down one of the article pages, a beeping sounds plays automatically. I've clicked the PN multiple times to report it, but it persists.

Sounds kinda like a notification tone on a phone or something....

Not the worst autoplay I've seen here, but kinda annoying

I think that is the sound when you read one of the 3 articles to increase your daily streak. I will put in a disable sounds toggle in user settings, but you can easily disable it, just hit the icon to the left of the address bar and under site settings just toggle sounds off. Sorry bout that.

I can't find such options settings to disable. Only secure site setting.

I'm on Android, so maybe the left versus right is the issue. Checking site settings, I also have nothing.


I'm aware on desktop, I can right click a tab and mute any sounds, but mobile doesn't have that ability
