Getting the highest-rated of dissatisfied or monetarily-motivated transfers does not make a football team. Kentucky basketball. It is not automatic that you can turn a team built on “one and done” first round draft picks into a good basketball team. But who knows is coming for college athletics.

Unfortunately we just don't have the NIL money or as many rich alumni as some other programs. We need a great season or our financial issues will continue to haunt us. Fortunately we were able to secure 2 nattys and establish ourselves as a national powerhouse prior to this money driven landscape of recruiting. We are doing exceptionally well dollar for dollar but without some immediate success we could start to fade. Go Tigers!! #All-In

UGa only took 34 "commits" this year. I thought they were exempt from the "scholarship" limitation rules and could take many more.

We will have a nice team, our players will graduate, and we will do it the right way. But talent still matters and if things stay as they are, we will be challenged to remain elite in this new environment.
A lot of folks on here say they will be happy with that.

Grecian Formula Day think he is going to do any better? These kids don't care one iota about Ohio State. They just want to make themselves some money and wait on NFL eligibility. Some may even hang around the college ranks longer now, as they will make more in NIL than a rookie NFL contract pays. How screwed up is that?

The qb from Alabama, Julian Sayin, was recruited hard by Ohio State in High School. He ultimately chose Bama with Ohio State finishing 2nd. When Saban retired, he knew where he wanted to go. Same with Bama safety Caleb Downs. He was considered a Buckeye lean most of his recruitment. But chose Saban and Bama.
