week 3 day 1 prayers

Today we look to our faith and hold Ella Bresee up in prayers. We place her in His healing grace and ask for comfort and peace for her and her family.
We also ask for prayers for Andrew Makuba, Adam Randall, Trent Pearman and Dominique Thomas. May they have focus in their lives and studies. May they continue to enjoy good health, without injury or illness. May they find joy in each of their days.

I’m just lifting the whole team in prayer this year. Last year was so negative towards the players that I started praying for them, with none of my prayers having anything to do with the games, but just for them. For their daily life and struggles. This year I broke the team out by games and selected a number of players to lift each week. I start 3 days before each game with my list. I’ll cover all the roster and coaches by the end of the season It’s just my commitment to a positive space for them as students and people, not players.
