I just watched the 2013 Clemson vs UGA game. Am I the only one that wants to see an annual meeting between these two? I mean, we can also add in a BIG 10 PAC 12 or another power conference team in the mix as well. However, I would at least like to play UGA 2 out of 5 years for the season opener. To me it really kicks off the football season right. Win or lose it's always a really great game and adds a certain energy to the season. Just my opinion... If Clemson and UGA fans signed a petition then would it start a movement to arrange an annual meeting?

The fans have always wanted an annual game between Clemson and UGA.
Scheduling obligations/conflicts/problems are mostly to blame.

As fun as it is to see the two on the gridiron, there is always the chance that this game could shoot you in the foot. For instance, if we played UGA later in the year last season, I think we could have pulled that one out. Instead, we played with two QBs and didn't have fluidity. Watson would have been our definitive starter later in the year, and if healthy, could have given us a W.

We shouldn't play scared. Championships aren't won, during football season. They are won during Spring Camps, Strength and Conditioning Periods, Summer 1, Summer 2, and Fall Camp. Just like I was taught in the Marine Corps... Wars are won before they are fought.
