To see all the other big time college football programs in their own division all together playing each other every week and then ultimately playing for the only national championship that matters. We don’t need Vandy, Duke, Wake, KY, TCU, San Diego state, alcorn st, et al in the mix taking up valuable Saturdays from seeing good games. The SEASON should be the PLAYOFF!

Let’s get to that point of change as soon as possible please.

Seems like The Alliance should want to keep playoffs at 4.

D-Rad seems like he favors playoff expansion, but I thought that the main reason that the ACC, B1G, & PAC-12 got together was to vote to eff the SEC by keeping the playoffs at 4 with the current emphasis on conference championships. That way Oklahoma, Texas, and the other megaconference SEC teams can sit at home during the playoffs, frustrated, watching Bama play the other P5 champs, like Clemson, tOSU, & Oregon. Voting to keep it at 4 would hurt the SEC financially, and in recruiting. Otherwise, if the playoffs expand to 12, then the SEC is likely to get at least 4 teams in the playoff every year, which would be good for the SEC financially and in recruiting.
