Tickets available outside the stadium on Saturday?

Nov 20, 2012, 12:17 AM

My wife and I will be visiting my family in Greenville for the Thanksgiving holiday, and the two of us hope to go to the game on Saturday. Unfortunately, we haven't yet met our goal of getting two tickets for no more than $100 a piece. We are newlyweds and this would be her first Clemson game. Any chance we will be able to find tickets outside the stadium? I'm hoping for lower deck. A little tailgating would be nice too, as she isn't from the south and doesn't know what real tailgating is (yet).

I don't want to drag her there if finding tickets is unlikely. Thoughts?

I'm hoping to catch a ticket for $50 or less at the last

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Always are tickets!

Never been to a game that I couldn't get in! Give it a try! Good Luck!

This is like asking for a guarantee of the stock market

There's no absolute answer. MOST of the time in a game like this, if you're carrying good cash, as u say - abt a hundred per ticket, you're going to get both of you in with some patience and persistence. Cash and patience are the key. However if u somehow advertise yourselves humorously with a sign - "Newlyweds - need tickets", I'll bet you can draw some attention and actually get in, maybe for 80 or less each. That's my experience.

It can happen ...

We have 2 seats and in 08 we took some friends and collectively had 6 kids between us. My husband and friend's husband took our seats and about 5 minutes after kickoff I got 8 tickets upper deck for $5/ea. Mind you ... the weather was bad and we were winning. I would take the chance. The Valley will be awesome inside and outside of the stadium.

available outside of EVERY sporting event (save very few) for 133% of face value.

Should be no problem.

Yes, you will find tickets for much less than $100. Just

make it clear that you are Clemson folks and you are going to use the tickets you buy.
