Another Chad Morris question

I asked this last week and I guess I can't expect anything new this week but, it still interests me. Is Chad Morris gonna return next season?
Personally, I hope he does . He is actually worth his paycheck. Which isn't always the case in college athletics. And if he stays here, we are gonna continue to b really good. The talent is here to maintain, especially with what's coming in. National title contention is really likely next season if he is here.
But, if he does leave, what happens to our recruiting of offensive players and our title chances then?
Honestly, Dabo's biggest recruiting job upcoming, might just be trying to hold on to chad and Brent as long as he can. Thoughts?

I hope so too...

Because without a doubt, the two best things Dabo has done at Clemson is recruiting well and hiring Morris. Chad will be very hard to replace. Maybe he'll be kind enough to give Dabo a short course on running his offense before he leaves to be a head coach somewhere.

anything's possible. He has stated he wants to remain, while his daughter is in school, but there is a more probable scenario to me: he may well want another year or two as the OC to experience better competition during the year and in post-season as well as grasp more of defensive schemes watching BV. And I believe he may wring a better HC job with one or two more years experience at the collegiate level. Then again, I may well be grasping for straws, blowing smoke and demonstrating certain qualities of stupidity and idiocy!

That he will stay one more year at least , knowing that our chances to make a legit run exists. You don't get that chance everyday.

leave to become a head coach. I don't think he'll leave after this year (fingers crossed), but I really think it depends on what jobs are out there that would hire him. Honestly I think he's waiting for a pretty good school before he leaves, which will probably be within the next 2-4 years. Honestly I don't see how he can do anything but strengthen his resume for a HC position next year with all the returning talent and don't really expect any vacancies that he would leave for after this year with the exception of Auburn, Tennessee and maybe South Florida.

back. If an attractive offer is on the table and she comes to him and says, I release you from your promise, he might be gone. I think he's planning on staying at least two more years before testing the HC waters.
