Already thinking about help needed, MIAMI!

This is just for the he** of it.
Essentially, when looking this early, you want to find teams that we don’t play. If we don’t play them, we can’t gain a head to head advantage by beating them.
1st, if GT can find 2 losses then that GT is out of the way….
I’m looking at October 4th, FSU vs Miami in Tallahassee. Clemson NEEDS FSU to beat Miami as of now. That gives Clemson the chance to gain the tiebreak with FSU by beating FSU.
Miami is the only contender we don’t play. Which is it gives us control if Miami loses to FSU. Anybody else that has an actual remote chance of being in contention at the end of the year Clemson plays.
Louisville, SMU, maybe Duke, NC State (😂) I say NC State only because they’re undefeated right now.
Miami is our biggest enemy.
And I know they take into consideration common opponents, Clemson and Miami both play FSU, Louisville, Syracuse, NC State, and Louisville
But this whole post is under the assumption Clemson doesn’t lose another ACC game anyways. So.

Then again were backing into the acc championship like we did last year ...if you don't earn it we don't need to be there period ...

This ‘backing into the ACC Championship game is illegitimate’ talk is ridiculous.
Every team in the ACC has the same scenario for becoming one of the two teams that make it to ACC Championship game. Every team can ‘back into’ the ACC Championship game. There is no reason why Clemson should be ‘too good’ to be allowed in because we ‘backed in.’

I dont see Gtech losing 2. Their schedule is so easy. Maybe 1.

FSU's ACC schedule is easy too. Miami OCT 4 is by far their toughest game.

We don't play NCState. You are thinking in the old Atlantic division days

What would happen if Miami and Clemson both finish 7-1? Throw GT in there at 7-1 too. Reminds me of the old Peach Blossom Conference. Greer, Clinton, and Broome All Finised at 9-1. It was a Heluva Dilemma for the SCHSL. Came down to tiebreakers!

Under that scenario we would be screwed because

Ga Tech would have the head to head on us and we would not have played Miami. Miami would be the higher ranked team and it would be Ga Tech vs Miami in the ACC Championship game.

I thought common record for common opponents is the first criteria after head to head result, which we don’t play Miami
Which is why if they lose to FSU and we beat FSU, and all other common opponents, then yeah

Some of you are so delusional. Has our fan base gotten so desperate that we have to root for teams to lose rather than us win? Miami craping the bed at Syracuse last year was the only reason we won one of our last three games? I’ll pass this year. Get on the field and earn it like good teams do. Syracuse getting us in last year has pushed mediocrity forward another year.

If and this is a big if at this point… but if we were to win out we would make the playoff even if we didn’t play in the acc championship.

Of our schedule or we need to lose a FEW.
I don’t see how Dabo changes anything if we back door our way into the ACC title.
He’ll think nothing is wrong

Well, realistically we could in fact go to Charlotte however, it would be to the Duke’s Mayo Bowl …
