Dr. Seuss Rhyme-"The Coot in the Visor"

The coot in the visor can't remember why, But it's golf in Augusta that led him to try, To make shinola from chit, something from air, Tradition from embarrassment and a trophy case bare.
Great things will happen next year upon next, Then the losing begins, leaving coots perplexed.
What's this? A spark, a glimmer of glory! Five wins over Clemson and a Lattimore story. All of the coots in the State House believe, That the coot in the visor is more than just Steve. He's a savior, and legend, who's greater than Tanner, Who has two national titles, yet has zero banners.
The coot in the visor started the '14 season, With a #6 ranking and the fans had a reason, To believe they belonged, and had finally arrived; Then reality hit quickly and the season nosedived.
Loss one, loss two, loss three, loss four, Loss five came as well, could there be one more? Oh yes, and it was a sight to be seen, Toss sweep left, thirty five-seventeen.
The banner year marred, reality apparent, The coot in the visor began his lament, In two or three years, his career will be spent. From this announcement, his recruiting class sickens, And their best recruit flips to that school up in Pickens.
Yet the coot in the visor reverts to his hate, With a half hearted call to circle the date, When his team will face the Tigers in Williams-Bryce, And his coot legacy will pay the ultimate price.

needs to go post this and see how long before they get banned....
I bet it's about as quick as Spurdick throws his team under the bus, and as fast as he throws his visor when something doesn't go his way.

Unless you grew up in the 60s and read all of these books as a child... I'm not sure you can appreciate how well tigerJD managed to capture the quirky rhythm/cadence/whatever of The Cat In A Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, etc. This is good stuff.
