QB is one thing but either can win if we fix ONE THING:

Our O-line has no explosive push. At the start, when SC State was not worn out, we were only getting 1 to 3 yards. We need our line to play with more dominance. FSU will be a tall order if they do not get better here no matter what QB starts.

We will get dominated worse than the 2nd half of UGA.

And that Caldwell could take 2* and 3* and dominate?
I start believing everything I read on this Board and come to find out some of it might be wrong.

Caldwell isn't a has been, he's a never was.
The guy's resume is very unimpressive. Why Dabo hired him escapes me. We can do better.
And why do we a RB coach that never played RB?

It's the system. Have to take the bad with the good. When pass pro is emphasized then that's what we will Excell at. Love Morris' offense but we will never lead the league in rushing. Most of our rush total comes in garbage time and on perimeter. It is what it is. Getting Beasley back in there will help a lot tho

coming at him--you are correct. I like Watson but he is one of 11 on a starting unit. Our weakest link on that unit IMO is the O-Line. If they back us up in Doak Campbell with the noise level through the roof, we need our line to have something to help our QB, RB, and receivers out.

Agreed, they need to play with a mean streak...

It's just so far I don't have a solid opinion on there play so far. We ran the ball good in the first half against UGA, then the second half happened. Really in the second half against UGA, UGA geared up against the run and dared Stoudt to beat them with his arm. And we all know how that turned out.
But, we have too much talent not to have a good oline.

UGA did just the opposite in fact. They played 2 deep to take the vertical pass game away and dared us to run the ball. We answered with Spence 's screen playbook

No kidding. Seems we might have finally gotten the defensive backfield stable, but we cannot seem to keep a good o line. And for all the talk about Caldwell, what about Batson? I've yet to hear anyone rave about our S/C program since the Ford days.
