Tip of the cap to KJ Henry on a great year.

Lots of great players on this team and I know Shipley will get most of the recognition (well deserved). But I think KJ has had an all American season. Consistent presence, energy and leadership. Seems like everyone else has missed 4 or 5 games but every time you look down there’s 5. Thankful he came back this year.

Agree on all. KJ Henry has been a consistent force as well as a great and vocal leader. We needed that this year and very thankful he came back for this year, would have been tough without him. Love his spirit and how he went All In for Tigers!! Wish him much success in the future.

He went to middle school with my daughter and his family live really close to us and he trained during the covid break really close to my home. His family are incredible citizens and neighbors.

Several on here said he wouldn’t come here and several considered him a 5 star bust but it just took him some time for him to develop.

He’s been incredible this season with getting pressure constantly in almost every game. I’m so proud of him.

He deserves some recognition for his hard work academically and athletically!

KJ is a very unusually mature young man. His display of kindness and generosity really touched me. Can you imagine a teenager wanting to share the limelight at such an important moment in his life?? I was Never that mature.

I second all of these posts. So happy things worked out for him, this year. With XT having so many problems, KJ has saved us. Good decision to come back. Really great year. Let's see it again, tomorrow. GO TIGERS!!!
