Ummmm, no. Firing a coach to get a player? Thats short sighted. That shows a lack of trust, loyalty, and maturity. If you are going to fire the coach, do it on the basis of the coach's lack of progress/ability to win/etc. Lsu is an example of a program that has no integrity. If I were a coach being considered for a program that fired its last coach because of a player, I wouldnt even look at them.

You’re missing the context of the article. Nowhere did the article say that it is Manning’s requirement, it’s just a sports writer stating the obvious. I think we can all agree that if we were Manning, we would not go play for Tony Elliot. He’s a terrible offensive coordinator and if I’m Manning, I don’t go play for him.

Yall might as well get use to the fact that Arch is NOT coming to Clemson for a multitude of reasons:
1) He has already stated he wants to play in the SEC. 2)He would be killed behind our OL. 3)The City of Clemson would have to provide space, building and permits to build the Cathedral of Manning where all things Manning would inexplicably be worshiped by the Great Unwashed in Orange.

That comment has just fcked up any hope of us getting another OC bc, Dabo will never in a million years give in to that type of pressure for a recruit, no recruit. I mean he wouldn't fire a coach even if it meant getting a 2.0 of TL16 or DW4, and those two are without a doubt proven top college QB's. The Manning's are just putting that out there as an excuse for the Manning kid not coming to Clemson, probably after any agreements that had already been made with Dabo about the kids recruitment prior to the start of this season!!!

Fansided are the biggest bunch of morons in sports media. They make money off outrage click bait. When you click on an article bc the headline outrageous, they make revenue. It's a really bad system that Google has created in the ad revenue space.
They also wrote "Dabo won't get fired bc of his buyout" this week, saying Dabo probably deserved to be fired at 4-3.
