I saw my first Clemson game in 1960 and quite honestly, I haven't missed very many home games since. Pretty good since I have not lived in S.C. since my graduation in 1964. In ALL those many years, including the great Danny Ford years, have I been more confident of a Clemson victory than I am now with the team the Tigers put on the field each Saturday. Regardless of the opponent or the venue I always have the feeling that the Tigers will be victorious. Do any of you other 'ole timers have the confidence that I have? I bet that many of you do.

Agree. I have witnessed Red Parker and since that time and never has more overall confidence in our program. 1981 was a very special year but otherwise didnt see the overall greatness we are witnessing now.

My first game may have been before then. I remember playing on hill during game. First game i really remember was 1958 vs NCSTate.

My 1st game was 1957 vs UNC In 1980 I got a Florida car tag that says paws one. National champions. Next few years are going to be specialIMO go Tigers

That is the attitude! Always expect to win! I hear people every year say another National Championship is not realistic. Well why the heck not? I know...talent, schedule, yada yada yada. But if you don't expect to win the prize. why are we even suiting up on Saturday! Go Tigers!

and I also enjoyed the great Danny Ford run. In recent years, (since Dabo) I have that "feeling" again...that "swagger" as Tiger fan that eluded me for a decade or so.

From 1981-Ken Hatfield I was more confident in certainty of wins. But that said, I am more confident now then since Ford coached. Dabo has been excellent in selecting coaches & recruiting ... and in my mind Deshaun Watson has the skill sets to make this a transcendent year if the Defense, OL and TE's step up. Very optimistic.
