I have an odd color deficiency where it looks blue to me in person as well.

Are you sure your tv is not set on 'in-store' mode? I bought one that was, corrected it. In store mode pumps up the blue values.

I had it on three TVs in my house and all looked more blue than purple, but I haven’t checked for an in store setting.

Because it’s not actually purple. It’s regalia. The official color.

TCU looks more like the Furman shade of Purple. Agreed Clemson's leans a purplish-blue.

I don't know, but it definitely does. I used to just think it was something with Dish, but now I have You Tube TV and they are just as blue. Lg, Samsung, and Vizio are all blue as blue

Remember a night game a few years back, maybe it was Duke? Whatever color filter ABC was using the purple jerseys looked like Florida Gator blue. Strangely, Duke’s blue looked normal. Everyone mentioned it who watched on tv, and those at DV said it was most definitely Clemson purple. I never did hear a technical explanation.
