Anyone else find it odd that the #4 ranked team (FSU) is only a 2 point favorite over an unranked Clemson team?? I can't recall any top 5 school ever being essentially a toss-up against against any unranked team. Seems to me the rankings and the spread don't make sense. Either FSU is over-ranked or Clemson under-ranked to have this low of a spread...

recognizing that FSU is likely ranked too high and Clemson likely ranked too low. Just from my eye test, I'd have FSU between 10-15 right now and Clemson around 20.

"majority", you are referring to the sheer number of bets on FSU.
The line ALWAYS moves in effort to keep the money even on both sides. If the majority of the total dollhairs have been bet on FSU, the line would move the other way....like say FSU-6.

But In reality Clemson should be ranked about 12th and FSU 5th. But we are at home w a seven game winning streak. FSU has only beat us twice in the valley in the last 20 plus years.

by beating LSU. I also put down for them to win the ACC, SO, Clemson wins tomorrow and FSU loses another game some kinda way and doesn't even make it to Charlotte.

Clemson be ranked higher than them? I highly doubt FSU drops below Clemson, but there's no way FSU should be ranked higher in that scenario.

Florida State at Clemson
This is the sixth time in the CFP era that a Top-5 team has been favored by a FG or less against an unranked opponent. Four of the previous five won, with the lone exception being Michigan State at Purdue in 2021. Last year, TCU won at Baylor 29-28 as a 2.5-point favorite.
If you include Duke from this season, Clemson is 2-8 vs. teams which finished the season ranked or are currently ranked since the 2020 CFP Semifinal loss to Ohio State.
