Daughters or Granddaughters? Wish I could bring up the figures of how many winning trophies young girls & women have lost in past few years (thousands) while having to compete against a man who now says or wants or has taken chemicals to be a woman. And this muscular and size difference is just one problem..the other is exposure in the women’s locker room.. And then the shear emotional well-being of both parties involved in this mess. Saying, it’s apparent that elected politicians are not smarter than the average Joe since the average Joe & Jane are against this trans competing policy by freaking 79%.

...than the prevailing school of thought here, let me just say it does a grave disservice to folks here who are to the left of Trump to assert there views are the same as mine. Unlike some groups of people here, we are not a hive mind. We hold individual views on individual issues.

And let me be clear, I am ALL FOR individual governing bodies of individual sports determining who can compete in what sport using concrete measurable metrics. I see no need for a law, and find it laughable so many folks on the right are trying to carry the torch for women's sports when they truly could give two craps about it. It's effectively a non-issue (that, IMO, could and should be solvable by individual governing bodies of each sport) that the right has used to rile you against the other side of the aisle.

If it were only about the "sanctity of women's sports" there wouldn't be such a loud outcry to demonize folks with gender dysphoria (including the use of slurs) and y'all wouldn't be celebrating the fact that the federal government is now trying to make gender some absolute binary construct that goes against both history and scientific reality.

But again, that's just my views, don't make the mistake of thinking that folks who I find myself in agreement with on other issues think the same as I do on this one.
