Wow, I can't believe this guy. He has so many kids that look up to him. What an embarrassment to the Florida St and the ACC. If Jimbo doesn't get a grip on this guy, what will be next?

How many apologies is this for Jameis and counting. It makes me wonder if he even knows the real meaning of an apology. I think that he believes that an apology is just an easy escape of I really don't give a ### what people think. He believes that forgiveness is a completed pass for a TD.

that know what needed to be said. Jimbo nor Winston could have come up with that statement on their own.
Truth be told Winston proabably doesn't comprehend the meaning fo what he just read.
Not a me person....what a load of crap!

This is as much FSU's fault as anyone's. They have ignored, placated, enabled this young man. Not only that, they have given him and others that all that matters is wining a football game. I like to win as much as anyone but they have put their entire University under serious scrutiny.

I do think fsu is enabling him. BUT, I don't think all his acts started when he stepped on campus. This type of behavior takes lots of time to get to this point. I have a feeling this type of behavior began in early childhood and was never corrected. Then he becomes the hs BMOC and was never made to act like a normal young man. I would be willing to bet that he got away with this type of behavior in hs and everyone closed their eyes because he was carrying the football team

Serious Question
Sep 17, 2014, 1:52 PM
|
|
Based on what we know about the CU Staff and Dabo, what would he do in this situation regardless of Winstons capabilities? My thoughts is that he would have cut him just as he did with Bellamy. I just feel very strong about the way we run our program and would hope that it would set the tone for the rest of the ACC.

to the people that he really offended...women. In the wake of the Rice situation, he should be suspended for the season. His comment was just as hurtful to females as was the punch Rice threw.
He only wants to apologize to coaches and team members because he feels HE IS the fsu team and can not exist without him. Nah, he is not a me person at all.
Ya know, all this crazy stuff by him did not start once he set foot on campus. IMO, he has gotten away with this type of behavior for a long time and his status as a great QB has saved him.

They haven't made one yet, and I doubt they will. A half game suspension for as many faux pas as he has had is like nothing at all. How sad they have become. (maybe they just always have been that devoid of character) I have no recollection of it being any better there.

Adversity??
Sep 17, 2014, 3:41 PM
|
|
The fine tutors at FSU need to give Jameis a lesson in adversity. There's a difference between going through adversity like he mentions and causing adversity like he's doing to his team and university. Furthermore he's the last person who should be standing on a pedestal shouting obscenities with the charges he has pending.

Ridiculous! Only a half game and nothing for the theft last summer. Seems that some programs are serious about disciplining these young men while others look the other way repeatedly and win at all costs. My guess is the president / FL State University administration insisted he sit out the first half. Come on Jimbo, show some integrity and let him watch the whole game on the sidelines!
