With the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the 9th, it looked like the Toronto runner beat the throw to home plate when the catcher's foot came off the bag. But like another poster said, they weren't going to end the series on an overturned call.

Former Brave Freddie Freeman didn't have a good series except for the walk-off home run in the 18-inning third game, the longest game in World Series history and one of the longest in any championship games history.

It looked like the catchers foot came back down just barely before the runner tagged home.

Kind of like that PI call yesterday that should have been a no call.

foot came off, then back down on the plate just in time. Some murkiness of dirt in the slide obscured a perfect and clean shot of his slide foot contacting. But doesn't matter. Has to be "indisputable". As far as fixes, that's an easy copout to resort to, but not legit'. And no - I care nothing about the LA Dodgers.

The guy was out, clear as day, they got the call right. It would have been odd to win the WS on an overturn, I agree, but they got it right. Jays literally came an inch or two from winning the WS
