I have really been impressed by his progress. He’s turning a corner from a big strong kid running between the tackles like a WR, to a RB. He’s gonna earn his spot on a practice squad next year and hopefully continue to develop. He has been the brightest spot on offense for us.

I still haven't understood the immense anount of digs on Randall or CJ Spiller as a coach. Randall took his hits and messed up at times but he stayed true and has gotten better as the year has progressed. You can tell he runs like he wants to win. Honestly if we could have him another year, he would put up some really good stats I'd think.

We have a lot of posters who revel in their criticism of our players and coaches. Player makes a few mistakes or has a bad game, and he's trash; or if they are being nice, he's a disappointment. They love to jump on any bandwagon that bashes players or coaches. We've had a lot of good players and coaches who went on to greater success, who were routinely bashed and criticized on here.

People confuse lack of experience with lack of ability. I’m glad the coaches have stayed the course with him instead of listening to impulsive fans who don’t know jack.

The criticism of Spiller does not reflect on Randall. Not in my opinion at least

But with Spiller how does a WR become #1 RB in 6months?He had not contigency plan in a room of RBs. That equates to poor recruiting, poor coaching, or poor evaluation. Just looking at his tenure as the coach, Spiller has not always sent the best RB onto the field. But he has pulled the hot back for the game starter who was doing poorly. It's ok to call out a coach who shouldn't have been suddenly put into the position. Spiller is not showing improvement as a Running Backs coach. Our RB room went from "overflowing" to "thank goodness we had an athlete in another position to take a spot". That is on Spiller.
