When we asked the dude that smoked us up in The Couv (what we called Vancouver) why the laws on weed was so relaxed - he said "About 2 blocks from here, there are about 50-75 people shooting up in a park"

Seattle and my brother picked us up and took us to Vancouver (he lives there) so I only know one restaurant in Seattle and it had GREAT beer, but I do not remember the name.

That was a serious reply...We had a big, gay wedding

in Seattly. More serious...they don't MAKE you get gay married out there, if that makes you feel better.
We stayed in the Queen Anne neighborhood right near the Space Needle and all that stuff though we didn't actually go up the space needle. Our friends lived in a sweet apartment nearby, so we parked the car and didn't use it again until the weekend.
During the week we took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island. That was nice. Lots of little local shops and restaurants. We visited the Pike's Market and the downtown area. We also toured the EMP museum (it was really close to where we stayed). On Saturday we took a day trip to Whidbey Island just to see something different.
I enjoyed it throughly. the weather was amazing while we were there. I wanted to go to Portland. I have friends from there that rave about it, but we didn't have time. That may have to be my next trip.
