Corse DD has always hated on the ACC and is really pulling for something to happen.

I don't think anyone can just take VT without taking UVA. They passed a state amendment in Va saying they both have to be in the same conference to get VT in the ACC but I could be wrong.

Almost no way VT could leave UVA behind in the ACC a few years after the state legislature forced UVA to include VT in the previous expansion.

With no more than VT can afford to pay for a FB coach, once Beamer retires theyre done for. Lets face it, they cant recruit bc their facilities arent any good. Without Beamer and his ability to develop players, they will see a significant drop off. He cant be replaced unless they can dish out some serious cash, which they cant afford. They have no BB or Baseball (which is quite popular in the Big12). I dont see this move materializing at all to be honest. If they had an insanely large TV market then I could see it maybe, but they arent better than Clemson in any repsect other than Beamers win/yr over the ast decade, which will be null once he retires in a couple of years.

No conference in its right mind would not want to have Clemson as part of their conference. CU is a premier team and would add greatness to any conference lineup--bar none!! Go Tigers!!
