ACC has one non-ND power play available…

Do everything in their power to kill the 12-team playoff. The SEC still make ridiculous bank but they’d be able to get max 2 teams in and our conference champ would still be in most years.

This would also likely force ND’s hand.

They reports are Sankey, as someone involved in the playoff expansion discussions, factored in that the 12 team format will pass as part of the thought process of being receptive to UT/OU request. Would be crazy if PAC 12, ACC, whatever comes out of BIG 12 voted it down. Sure the four teams has hurt PAC 12 and BIg 12 but will it really matter going to 12 if 6 are from the SEC.

Again I don't think they stop to move to 12 but it sure is an interesting potential for leverage

This is an interesting idea, and something I had not previously thought about.

It brings to mind the following question: Exactly how does the College Football playoff change get approve? Who votes on it? What must occur to get from 4 teams to 12?
