yesterday, it was obvious that because of DW' s shoulder injury, we didn't have any designed QB runs yesterday. DW being a running threat helps make Gallman go, and with no QB a threat to run, Pitt was able to tee off on Gallman when he did. Look for a more healthy (hopefully) DW to run more against Wake which will open up some lanes for Wayne.

While I can appreciate that, in my opinion, we should have a running game without having our QB being the one who has to make that happen. What happened to having big O lineman fire off the line and knock the defender back off the snap?

Frustrated me for years, starting with Boyd, that we used our QB to "setup" the running game by our running backs. Seems counter intuitive to me, the element of surprise with a running QB lets you move the chains on third down. Watson hasn't looked quite as good this year running the ball, and it shows on third down.

to much zone blocking. As big as our offensive lineman are there is no reason that offense should not be able to get one yard anytime they need it. Get dirty and mean, fire off the ball and drive your man back.

go out in the 1st quarter. Had 3 true freshmen playing on the OL yesterday. Going to be great players for the Tigers but there is a learning curve every player goes through. Also who else cares WHO sets up the running game?

get no push and just flat out get whipped. QB should not be the primary reason a running game is effective.

The coaches must have felt that if Deshaun ran and was tackled, that there was a danger of hurting his shoulder even worse.

When we lined up with the Jumbo package to go for it on forth down and we went lateral instead
of power straight ahead , I knew we were in trouble .,
