To keep them from taking their guns…

Parents are hiding them in their kids backpacks.

Really though, seems that in general people are growing less caring of others, more violent, and more paranoid. Things could end up getting real ugly.

nah, society is just knee-jerk irrational now

I carried a gun to school every day of my high school life. I did leave it in my vehicle most days. Heck, some of us would go dove hunting at lunch - with the principal's permission. Shotgun(s) displayed in back window of truck.

Now a kid brings a butter knife to school in his lunchbox and the police are called to arrest him. This is insanity.

It' a shame what we have done to our children over the last 30-40 years. They didn't ask for this - overprotective absolute moron ADULTS created today's society. It's now a world of 24/7 stress, anxiety, and hyper-sensitivity.

We're not evolving, we're devolving. And quickly.

No problem with a 14-year-old carrying a loaded gun to school?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

if that 14yo can drive and keep it in his vehicle

and has been trained on gun safety, perfectly fine.

Of course I don't want him/her walking down the halls with it on their hip.
