Disclaimer - If we turn the ball over or have to try too many field goals, the following may not matter.

UNC will be the best offense we've faced this year.

They are #3 at 521 YPG
We are ranked 48th at 408 YPG

Our D is the best they will have seen by far.

Comparing our D to the average of the teams they have played:

Clemson
Total D - #6/272 YPG
Rushing D - #19/109 YPG
Passing D - #7/163 YPG

UNC Opponents
Total D - #75/386 YPG
Rushing D - #78/159 YPG
Passing D - #68/227 YPG

We have only been outgained twice this year. Miami held a 17 yard advantage and ND outgained us by 44 yards.

We have held every opponent except Duke (+29 yards) below their total offense average. We have held all ten opponents to an average of 74% of their total yards per game.

Based on this, I predict we'll hold UNC to under 400 yards.

UNC defensive ranks are

Total D - #80/390
Rushing D - #77/154
Passing D - #83/236

If our offense continues to improve and avoids catastrophic mistakes, I think we'll pull it out.

Enjoy Saturday and Go Tigers!
