A slightly enhanced view of the foot ON the line

I left a sliver of green between the yellow line and the white stripe. Take a business card, place it on your screen and you will see the foot is on the line. It's VERY narrowly on the line, but it's ON THE LINE.

Point for your effort...but your source is crap

No offense. It's very close, but he looks to be in bounds to me in almost every other bit of source material but this one POS grainy photo only Clemson fans are circulating. Don't know why we are still talking about it. It WAS a close call. It's over with now.

That source isn't....has your shot..and various others...the left foot ones, it is in..the right foot ones though, toe area is just barely on the line...and that's multiple angles...not just the back of the foot one you keep showing (you can't see the toe area in your pic).

looks like in the 2nd pic on the bottom his toe could have been on the line. It doesn't show anything conclusively, but it does definitely convince me that the call was closer than I thought. I still think he was in, but it is definitely close.

In this left-side overhead view, most of his foot isn't even on the ground yet. Also, you can't see his toe at all. I'm not sure why you would think this is a good angle.
I'm actually pretty this would be pretty much the worst angle to tell from.

Bringing his right foot off the ground. Heel is in the air, toe is on the turf. He does look in bounds from this view. Not saying it proves he didn't go out of bounds.

It's their responsibility to make the correct call. This is not Clemson's staff/players/fans fault, but people are going to still talk ####. Just how it goes. The refs should not have blown the play dead so they could review it.

But if he doesn't blow the whistle then the on-field call would be a TD and there would have to be indisputable evidence to overturn it. You don't "just let video decide". You make a the call like you see it.

Your yellow line extended the width of the white line.
Sep 20, 2013, 9:58 AM

The yellow line that you put in is at least a quarter of the width of the real white out of bounds line. Putting that next to, not on top of, the white out of bounds line extended the out of bounds line out at least 25%. Nice home cooking. I still think he was out, but using this to justify that reasoning is moronic.
