played it perfectly. He angled himself to force Quick to go towards the sideline and prevent the cut back. It was a really nice play.

Yep, all the talk from the Louisville fans saying Quick stepped out cause he thought he had the needed yards... absolutely ridiculous. Marcus was responsible for delivering the push and saving the win for us.
Just an example of the importance of each person on the team doing their own job right down to the very last man on the bench.

Edmond turned him 180 with the hit and he went out of bounds backwards. I thought they were the Cardnals not the Owls! He lowered his shoulder and got every inch of yardage he could.

It looks like Quick starts to lower his shoulder to go for power but when Edmond goes for his legs Quick tries to adjust but it's too late and he gets knocked out. If Edmond had gone in hi we probably would have seen the "fight for more yards" everyone is saying should have happened.

You are right. Quick went out exactly

where Edmond knocked him out! He didn't have a choice. Edmond made that play, and it had absolutely nothing to do with Quick wanting the marker or even the end zone. You can see from Quick's demeanor that he is surprised to be out of bounds and wants to get more yardage.
