A lot of OSU 2016 talk, why not 2014?

Different coaches, different players, blah blah. But that’s the case for 2016 too. Just saying, I wouldn’t just look at the 2016 game and think it’s going to be another blowout. Now I hope that’s the outcome but it seems a bit irrelevant.

OSU on paper looks very similar to the good guys. They have some dudes on the OL and we have struggled to get consistent pressure with a 4-man rush with the DL. I’ll be interested to see how that plays out. Just to say, I think it’ll be a tough game. OSU is a more complete and balanced team than LSU. Now, admittedly, LSU is more potent on offense even if they’re more one dimensional. But LSUs defense hasn’t been as good as OSUs... or has been less consistent at best.

Can’t wait for the game.

We’ll see. I don’t think OSU o-line is all that. Fields has been sacked 28 times. A lot of teams are getting pressure on him. Now will we with 3 down linemen? We don’t know but I like our chances with CBV.

The majority of Fields sacks are from him keeping the ball in the pocket to long and never throwing it away.
