A Gamecock's perspective on Williams

My friend is a #### fan. He went from saying Williams was a #### lean 2 weeks ago and hoping they got him, to saying he heard it was likely Clemson, to he will definitely be a Tiger. Before the announcement he was praising Williams' ability and saying how much he wanted him.
After he chose us he told me that if he was afraid of competition on the field with the coots then they didn't need him. He went on to say that Dabo would say anything to get a recruit and that he was using the #####' depth chart against them, which he then admitted if that was the case, there was nothing wrong with it.
The kicker? Now he says Williams probably won't even qualify academically. Sour grapes!!?

Lol. Yeah, he chose a team with Watkins, Hopkins, Peake, Bryant, Hopper, Robinson, Jenkins, and Brooks (if used as a WR some). Don't think he is scared of competition.

If I'm scared of competition am I going to go to the school that has only the 3rd true freshman AA ever and a host of other very talented receivers (who will all, save one, still be there when I enroll) or a school that just lost one of the greatest receivers the school has ever had to the NFL?

and a great guy. They can't fathom that as the case so they make up so much garbage to cast a negative light on him. And they're the only fanbase in america that thinks that.... They're just useless.

who do they have? Sanders and that new kid...the rest are average WR's..their weapons are lattimore lattimore lattimore and a busted play scramble by shaw...Not sayign thats bad at all, if fact it's very effective. But i don't think their depth chart at WR would be tougher to crack than ours...
We've been rated as one of the best WR corps in the country. Haven't heard the same about the #####.

Yeah, they were freaking out about Dabo telling the kid "what he wanted to hear." and talked about how you should tell kids what they NEED to hear.
How can they be THAT insulting to a young man? Do they really think Mike isn't smart enough to make his own decisions and is easily influenced by lies? (Because that is what they insinuated).
Then they went on to say what an evil person Dabo is...who the hell would EVER think Dabo is evil? How does that even make sense? Yes, there are people who think he isn't a good coach, but EVIL!?! He is one of the most christian and honest men I've met.

Williams is a superb player. Great pick up.
There were some questions about his grades, but from what I heard, he did a lot better his junior year than he expected to. He is in pretty good shape to qualify now.
