The extra year from Covid, redshirts and then transfer year is frying my brain. If my math is correct we will be dealing with that Covid year until 2025, assuming players redshirt after that. I wouldn’t want to be playing college football at 25 years old

My math is based on if your freshman year was 2020. Then redshirted in 2021. Be a freshman in 2022

Football is such a developmental sport, especially at QB and offensive line, and some develop later than others. It would improve the quality of the college game and the pro game.

Do you know what kind of dating talent you could pull as 25yr old starting QB getting paid a fat $500k or millions with slight chance to go pro after? Walking away with a masters degree or a couple of them, a big bank acct and lots of college fun? Sign me up!

The 2025-2026 school year for any players that came in as freshman in the 2020-2021 school year. Although some players who got medical redshirts as well could be as long as the 26-27 school year--7 years of eligibility
