Quit all the pi$$ing and moaning. You people don’t have any idea what you’re talking about. I come from an era where we were proud to beat ANYBODY. You people are dumping on a coach that has taken us to two national championships. DON’T be like all the media criticizing our coach. Shame on you.

You need to return to your era. This current era of Clemson football has passed you by and the folks in this era don't take losing lightly, let alone being satisfied with just beating someone once in awhile.

And you were right about hoping to and being Proud to beat anyone under Coach Howard but we held our own Buddy! LOL~
Now, can you envision him having Dabo's team talent, coaching staff & salaries to boot?!?!
Ole Coach Bob Jones, and Bonnie Banks McFadden, and others would have grinned.
Go TiGERS.. Jeep Rocking Boys!

.....but I am not looking to get rag-dolled by anyone...even if we lose. This team and staff better be looking for a spine..instead of looking to momma and her apple pie in Mayberry somewhere.

Disagree. We had two generational quarterbacks win two national titles. Without them. Nada.

I understand your perspective and respect it. I was born in ‘64 and graduated from Clemson in ‘87.
The difference between our times at Clemson is that the coaching staff is so highly paid, which should come with high expectations. Depending on the source (and age of the news article), Clemson has the 2nd highest paid HC, 3rd highest paid OC, and a DC paid in the top 20 of his college peers.
I certainly don’t expect to win every game, although it was really nice when we did win almost every game. However given this level of compensation, I certainly don’t expect to lose by 31 points to any team.
There will be people who point to Saban’s 28-point to Clemson in January 2019. However, even in that loss, Saban’s offense was not completely inept as Clemson’s offense was on Saturday.
The real problem many of us see is that there is no clear path forward to fix the problems. There are no obvious QB or RB on the roster to promote to the first team. Throughout the spring and fall camps, we heard that the offense was much better. They ran the same unsuccessful plays on Saturday that didn’t work last season.
I attended the game in ATL with 3 friends. My response is not driven by being shamed by Georgia fans. In fact the Georgia fans were mostly well behaved. In fact, most of them wouldn’t make eye contact after the game like we were the fans of Austin Peay or some other powder puff team.
Don’t tell us we are wrong for being whiney. Give us a reason to be hopeful.
Just my opinions - could be completely wrong for anyone else on this board.
I love the Clemson Tigers, I cannot lie.

I don't have as many miles on my odometer as you, but I clearly remember Frank Howard's last few seasons at Clemson, and Buddy Gore and Ray Yauger. I remember the excitement of adopting The Tiger Paw and Hootie Ingram taking over, and the failures and struggles that followed. The idea that we could compete with the big boys, much less win a national championship was laughable. We were regularly blown out by the Oklahomas and Auburns of the world, even worse than what we saw Saturday.
Now, in 2024, we have social media and forums like this, which gives the same voice to idiots and trolls as it does to, thoughtful, knowledgeable, loyal fans. I have a problem with constant beotching with never having anything positive to say. Some people do just that. Many on here just don't like Dabo and are looking for any reason to criticize him. Having said that, this should be a forum for honest opinions, which sometimes will not be complimentary. Just try to keep that in mind.
