I think if those 5 teams all go to bowls against the top 5 teams in the SEC, there is a good chance all 5 would lose to their SEC opponent. JMHO.

They've dominated that conference for 4 years. All the Team SEC talk should end when you're riding the coattails of one team of late.

Nobody is riding any coattails. Any of the top 5 teams in the SEC have a legit shot at the National Championship. As much of a shot as any of the other 5 non SEC teams mentioned. You can not legitimately name another conference with nearly as many contenders.

To say the SEC, especially USuCk, UGAy, Ole Miss, Miss St, UK, Vandy, Tenn, Mizzou, A&M, Arky (have I left anyone out) aren't riding coattails is laughable.
It's been 4 schools in the conference to go all the way of late (and 2 in the last 4 years) and the rest just hide behind them and blow raspberries.

With 5 of those SEC teams finishing in the top ten, I would say they stand on their own and everybody in all of college football is chasing Bama!

And won!! Clemson knows it can compete and arent intimidated by the "SEC"
Clemson will not beat an "SEC" team on Aug 31st.
They will beat a top notch football program....that goes by the name Georgia!!
Clemson needs no conference to help make them feel "elite"...because we are almost THERE!
